Description
A pleasingly tidy Merc that has seen little use in recent years; good
running order
First registered in May 1982,
this Mercedes 380SL sadly comes with very little history apart from four
invoices for minor parts fitted between 2013 and 2016 so we can’t tell you much
about it. Our vendor took the car in part-exchange from a lady who had owned it
since March 2023 and the V5C is still in her name, recording 10 former
keepers.
There are 13 old MOTs showing
the mileage rising from 57,263 in May 1992 to 98,548 miles in March 2015 and it
has only covered 400 miles since then, the odometer currently showing 98,911
miles. An owner's handbook is also present.
As you can see in
the photos, it looks to be in good shape for its year/mileage, the only real
blemish we noted being some damage to the fabric on the driver’s seat. We also
noted that the electric windows don’t work.
Starting promptly
and running well as we have moved it around on site, it would doubtless benefit
from a precautionary check-over before any long journeys are
undertaken.
