Lady owned since '97 and loaded from new with AMG bodykit and wheels; heated electric leather showing just 88,056 miles - Wow!

Supplied new in March 1994 by Monarch Cars of Tamworth, Mercedes-Benz main dealer, this smart face-lift series A124 cabriolet comes in E320 guise, featuring the proven M104 3.2 litre straight-six engine which develops 220bhp driving the rear wheels through 5-speed automatic transmission with Sports and Economy mode.

Finished in desirable Blue/Black with matching black mohair roof, 17inch AMG split rim 5-spoke alloy wheels and AMG body-kit, it manages to look both muscular and svelte, the classic stylish lines of the E-class cabriolet proving timeless and always popular.

Among the various options fitted to this car, we also find option 653, Sportline suspension, a most desirable feature giving the car a slightly lower ride-height and specially tuned suspension including shorter, stiffer springs, struts, anti-roll bars, and bushes. Inside, we see acres of black leather, walnut trim, heated electric front seats, cruise control, electric pop-up rear head rests/roll-over protection, electric roof, electric windows and mirrors, dual zone climate control with A/C, timber gear knob and upgraded Clarion sound system.

This fine example has been with our vendor, a lady, the 3^rd owner since December 1997 and shows just 88,056 miles (with summer use only during her tenure) and has been maintained by Monarch of Tamworth, the supplying Mercedes dealer since new supported by 10 stamps in the service book, the last in June 2001 at 80,453 miles plus PDI entry. Furthermore, within the history file we also find the owner’s pack, V5C, 2 old style V5's, 2 recent valuations carried out in the last 5 years both reporting the car to be very good with values ranging between £20-24,000, Alarm installation certificate, SORN notifications, invoice for a routine service in 2012, new brake fluid in 2017, and new battery in 2019 along with 3 old MOTs and current MOT valid until May 2022 with no advisories recorded.  The MOT history shows the car to have covered less than 5,000 miles in the last 15 years.

Crying out for some more regular use, and perhaps a service, the car presents very well indeed with few if any marks to the body, the hood also looking extremely clean and presentable (and original according to the owner). 

Buyers please note, the registration plate pictured is not included and will be retained upon successful sale at the vendors expense with the new V5C sent directly back to us, the car likely returning to its age-related plate of L866 JOV.
