The Ford Cortina Mk1 is one of Britain's most iconic

First registered in February 1966, this Ford Cortina Super
is powered by the 1,498cc four-cylinder engine coupled to a manual transmission.
Finished in what appears to be Lagoon Blue with a matching interior, the car

history, having had just two former keepers from new.

the first owner retained the Cortina for an incredible 55 years before it passed
to its current custodian, who has owned it since March 2021. The accompanying

old-style log book, green continuation log book, owner's handbook, one service
stamp, a substantial collection of invoices documenting maintenance and
restoration work carried out over the years, together with a bag of workshop
manuals.
Also included are 30 previous MOT certificates, helping to

our site for photography and filming, where it started readily, drove well and
