sport touring from the golden age of German engineering was first registered in
May 1978 and showing as only two former keepers and being with the current owner
since 2015 with the legendary 980cc air-cooled boxer twin producing 70 BHP
driving a 5-speed manual with shaft drive.
The R100RS was
the first production motorcycle to feature a full aerodynamic fairing developed
in a wind tunnel — revolutionary for its time. It offered superb high-speed
stability and comfort, making it a favorite for long-distance
riders.
Other features
include dual front disc brakes, rear drum, telescopic front forks and dual rear
shocks, comfortable dual seat with grab rail and not forgetting the iconic
snowflake alloy wheels.
