This nicely
spec’d 1999 XJ Sport Auto has covered just 62,449 miles.
It’s current MOT expires in May 2024 showing just one advisory for
slight play in the offside rear wheel bearing.
The car presents well for its age, with a few areas where the
metallic paintwork has worn thin and the interior is clean and tidy with wear
commensurate with its low mileage.
The
headlining doesn’t sag in the usual jaguar fashion and we’re advised that a new
alternator has recently been fitted although there is no invoice to support
this.
The history file is missing its handbook
and service book, but there is a work history report dating back to 2014 showing
several trips to Automedics Servicing limited between 2014 and 2016 by which
time it had covered just under 50,000 miles. Alongside 6 old MOTs is a £533
invoice for a main service dated January 2023 at 58,364 miles which included new
plugs, oils and brake fluid.
