1967 Austin-Healey Sprite MkIV
Pretty 1275cc
example on offer from a deceased estate in the same ownership for the last 22
years
On offer from a deceased estate, this
charming MkIV Healey Sprite has been owned by our lady owner for the last 22
years and dates from July 1967.
Finished in a
lovely hue of dark blue with black vinyl roof the car sits on a set of wire
wheels and looks most jolly.
Under the bonnet,
we find the venerable A-series 1275cc inline four-cylinder as found in the
similar MG Midget version.
The Heritage
Certificate on file confirms the car to be a Home Market RHD example finished in
Basilica Blue with black hood, black trim with wire wheels, heater, headlamp
flasher switch, anti-roll bar and tonneau cover fitted as
extras.
The car has not seen much recent use
and was delivered to us straight from the vendor’s garage, although we are told
it was running recently.
The history file
includes the current V5C, an old V5C and old style V5 logbook, pile of SORN
docs, 15 old MOTs, various manuals, Heritage Certificate and selection of sundry
bills for parts purchased a number of years ago. We are told the car was restored some
years ago, but there are no bills in support, although the condition of the car
suggests this to be the case.
Ready to be
enjoyed with some minor recommissioning to make sure its road-worthy and there
looks to be lots of enjoyment on the horizon with this little
gem.
