1996 Ford
Fiesta Ghia; No Reserve; 33,833 miles from new; currently owned for 24
years
Offered with no reserve, this highly
original 1996 Ford Fiesta Ghia presents an increasingly rare opportunity to
acquire a low-mileage example of Ford’s popular supermini.
First registered in August 1996, the car is powered by the economical
1,242cc petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Finished in white
with dark cloth upholstery, it has covered just 33,833 miles from new and has
had only 4 former keepers. The current owner has cherished the car since
February 2002, a period of over 24 years.
Retaining its original specification, the Fiesta benefits from a
factory sunroof and is supplied with its handbooks, 4 previous MOT certificates,
7 service stamps, and a collection of invoices documenting maintenance carried
out over the years.
The car holds an MOT until
September 2026 and was driven over 15 miles to the sale site, where it started,
ran, drove and stopped as expected during photography and video
preparation.
The bodywork remains remarkably
original, with only a small amount of rust beginning to appear around the wheel
arches, as shown in the photographs. This does little to detract from what is an
honest, unmodified and increasingly collectible example.
A charming, low-mileage modern classic that would make an excellent
addition to any Ford collection or serve as an enjoyable and practical retro
daily driver.
