Iconic American Muscle Car; c.500 horsepower; 6.4 litre 'Hemi' V8;
desirable Shaker Hood and two-tone paint; all duties paid; SRT Plate
included; 12 Months no advisory MOT; find another
The Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 is an exceptionally rare sight on UK
roads, having never been officially offered new in Europe. It represents one of
the most authentic modern American muscle cars, combining retro-inspired styling
with serious performance.
Powered by Dodge’s
formidable 6.4-litre HEMI V8 and drawing clear influence from the original 1970s
Challenger, it delivers effortless, torque-rich performance along with
unmistakable road presence.
This top spec example
was originally delivered new to Qatar, where it spent its entire early life
before being purchased and imported to the UK by our vendor in the summer of
2025.
Both overseas and since arriving in the UK,
the car has been maintained regardless of cost. Invoices show regular servicing
and upkeep, including replacement coolant pipes, suspension work, a new battery,
tyres, and a full four-wheel alignment, much of which was completed in
2023.
Further enhancements have been carried out
during the vendor’s ownership, including performance-oriented catalytic
converters, an oil catch tank, and a ‘Diablo Pro’ engine tune. With a factory
output of 470bhp, the vendor estimates this example now produces in the region
of 500bhp. Complemented by the extremely desirable ‘Shaker’ hood cold air
intake, performance is as impressive as its appearance suggests, likely
outperforming its factory performance figures.
Braking has been sensibly upgraded with drilled and grooved discs all
round, working in conjunction with the factory-fitted Brembo system, while a
recent set of tyres ensures the car’s considerable performance is effectively
put to the road.
The car has also
benefitted from a cosmetic refresh, with the paintwork featuring a custom red
and black metallic fleck that suits its character well. The interior presents in
very good condition and has been enhanced with carbon fibre trim and a Bluetooth
system incorporating a reversing camera.
Overall,
the car presents well; the black wheels appear unmarked, the paintwork retains
an excellent depth of shine, and the interior show minimal signs of
use.
Fully UK registered with all duties paid,
the car has recently passed its MOT with no advisories, reflecting the quality
of its maintenance. Rarer on UK roads than many supercars, this charismatic
example offers huge presence, performance, and personality in equal measure.
Keenly estimated, it represents a rare opportunity and is not to be missed — and
even comes complete with its desirable SRT registration
plate.
