2005 BMW 530d Sport Automatic
finished in Titanium Silver Metallic with black Dakota leather interior and
attractive Maple Wood trim. First registered in June 2005, this example has had
just three former keepers and has been in my ownership since December
2023.
Powered by the renowned
straight-six 2993cc diesel engine paired with a smooth 6-speed automatic
gearbox, the car currently shows 160,914 miles. It comes with a strong service
record consisting of 14 service stamps, with the most recent service completed
in September 2025. The MOT is valid until October 2026, offering peace of mind
for the next owner.
This car has been well
maintained mechanically. A new turbo was fitted in 2016, and new brake discs and
pads were installed in March 2023 at 127,512 miles. More recently, the vehicle
has benefited from significant preventative maintenance including front brake
discs and pads with bottom arms, replacement of the DPF, EGR valve, intake
manifold and glow plugs, as well as a new water pump, all thermostats and fresh
coolant. The battery has been replaced and the gearbox and differential have
both received full services.
Inside, the original BMW
iDrive system remains in place but has been professionally upgraded with fully
integrated wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. The audio
system has also been improved with a 10-speaker setup (originally 6 speakers),
providing noticeably better sound quality while retaining an OEM
appearance.
The car was driven to site and
starts, runs and stops exactly as you would expect, and has been used for photos
and a short video. Overall condition is good for the age and mileage of the
vehicle, with the usual light age-related wear you would expect from a 2005
example.
