The Yamaha TT 250R is a rugged, lightweight
off-road motorcycle featuring a 249cc 4-stroke single-cylinder DOHC engine
producing around 19bhp and 14 ft-lb of torque. Weighing in at only 113kg it has
a top speed of 71mph.
The TT 250R is known for its simplicity,
reliability and suitability for trail riding and enduro adventures. As standard
the seat height is 895mm but this bike has been fitted with a lowering bracket
(the original is included) the fuel tank holds 9 litres, giving a range of 90
miles returning an average of 47mpg.
First registered in October 2005 and showing
only three former keepers and with the current keeper for over six years, the
current MOT certificate is valid till September 2026.
The paperwork includes the current V5C, 12 old
MOT certificates, some parts invoices the owner’s handbook and a workshop
manual.
This example has benefited from a restoration
around three years ago, starting with a bare repainted frame and refurbished
plastics, the bike starts on the button and has been running beautifully on
site. Some spares are included as pictured, including the original height
suspension linkage.
