Deceased
estate; 95,348 miles; MOTd until January 2026; sporty modifications fitted; hand
books present
The
lightweight chassis, communicative steering and responsive naturally aspirated
engine make the Toyota GT86 a proper driver’s car, but one that
remains eminently suitable for everyday use.
One has to work the
197bhp 2.0-litre boxer engine quite hard with peak power coming in at 7000rpm.
0-60mph takes just 7.4 seconds, the free-breathing boxer delivering a
throaty punch all the way to the 7400rpm redline. If you keep it on the
boil, you shouldn't have any trouble nudging this sub-1300kg coupé along at
pace.
Unfortunately,
we do not have any documents or history with the car as it comes from a deceased
estate, but we can see the car has had the same owner for the last three
years.
MOT valid until January 2026 and showing no advisories, the speedo
shows 95,348 miles and it has been starting and driving around our site with no
problem.
As you can see from the photos some modifications have taken
place, but with no paperwork we can not confirm when
this has been carried out or by whom, but we can say the exhaust has been
changed giving a deep burble and you can't miss the front splitter just a few
inches off the tarmac.
The new owner will have to apply for a new V5C (Logbook) as the
original has been mislaid, but the car is registered to the UK so should be
quite easy.
