Time
to get Fast and Furious; four owners from new; owned for last 20 years;
MOTd until April 2026; Nitrous Oxide tank in rear; 5-speed manual
gearbox
The
fourth-generation Supra A80 began production in February 1993. It used the
subframe, suspension, and drivetrain assemblies from the Z30
Soarer (Lexus
SC300/400), with a naturally
aspirated Toyota
2JZ-GE engine giving a power output of 164 kW (220 hp;
223 PS) at 5,800 rpm and 210 lb
ft
(285 Nm) at 4,800 rpm of torque, coupled up to a five-speed manual W58 transmission.
First
registered in March 1994 and having only four owners in total. These
cars are becoming very sought afte, especially increasing interest after a
similar car was used in the Fast and Furious film.
Unfortunately,
we do not have any documents or history with the car as it comes from a deceased
estate, but we can see on HPI that the car has had the same owner for the
last 20 years.
While
taking the photos we noticed that Nitrous Oxide has been fitted to the car
(currently the bottle is disconnected). We would recommend getting system
checked before trying it out.
MOT
valid until 30 April 2026 and currently showing 234,925km equating 145,975
miles, this car has been starting and driving around our site with no
problem.
Please
beware the car was subject to a Category C Insurance Loss in January 2010 but
was repaired and received an identity check carried out by VOSA in June
2010.
The
new owner will have to apply for a new V5C as the original has been mislaid, but
the car is registered to the UK so should be quite
easy.
