The
Seat Leon Cupra R needs no introduction if you know your hot hatches.
Based
on the MkIV Golf platform but tuned by SEAT Sport for sharper handling featuring
the 225 BHP BAM 1.8 turbo charged engine as used in the Audi TT, the
specification continues with Brembo brakes, 18-inch alloys, and an aggressive
body kit.
The
interior included sports seats, red stitching, and aluminium pedals, it was also
the basis for the Supercopa SEAT León one-make racing
series.
This
stunning example is looking fabulous in its platinum grey metallic paintwork.
All those years of being kept in the garage when not used have preserved the
bodywork and trim fantastically. Never used for general duties but mostly
enjoyed for long drives and as such it’s managed to avoid all those normal car
park dings and dents over the years.
First
registered in November 2003 and showing only one former keeper, with the current
owner having the vehicle for nearly 22 years having purchased the car from his
neighbor who had bought
the car new from Letchworth SEAT.
The original
book pack includes 13 old MOT certificates, the current valid until July
2026, all the original handbooks including the service book documenting the
maintenance and repairs.
Serviced in March 2022, which included rear
brake discs, pads and a caliper replacement and the
vendor has informed us the car was then serviced again in July
2025.
Totally
standard and never modified - such a rare find with only
44,190
miles.
