Part of a deceased estate; 1 of 400 highly rare and original MX-5 Berkeley numbered cars; showing just 54,869 miles from new; only one keeper since the car was registered
This Mazda MX-5 Berkeley was a limited-edition, first-generation (Mk1) NA Series roadster for the UK market, produced in 1997 with a run of only 400 cars (this car being number 307), they were named after The Berkeley Hotel in London. The Berkeley edition featured Sparkle Green metallic paint, a unique 15-inch alloy wheels, a special black and grey interior with a wood trim, and a numbered plaque, making this a sought-after collector's car.
First registered in March 1998 and showing only one keeper, this car was driven almost 50 miles to the sale, the odometer reading just 54,869 miles which is backed up with the online MOT history.
The MOT expired in May 2025 (with no advisories) and has been stored since. The service book is present and has three stamps, the last done in 2002 at 29,320 miles, we have recently received a large amount of history on the car, receipts, old MOTs, original bill of sale with handover pack and hand written information by the vendor a few years ago.
The overall condition is good for its age, with the factory hardtop requiring some touching up and a new back screen (which has gone discoloured) on the soft top.
This is a great opportunity to buy 1 of only 400 cars made, making the chances of seeing another one in Morrisons carpark nearly impossible.
