One
of only two left on the road today; 104,622 miles from new; been in same
family for last 38 years
On its launch in November 1986, the Carlton MkII earned itself the
accolade of European Car of the Year - the second Vauxhall/Opel product to achieve this distinction,
two years after the Astra/Kadett
won the accolade.
One of only two left on the road,
this Carlton 2.0 GLI MkII saloon really is a timeless
classic.
Manufactured
in 1986 and first registered in January 1987, this car has been in the same
family for the last 38 years and only acquiring 3 owners in
total.
Unfortunately,
in November 2000 the car was categorised with a Cat D but was repaired shortly
after and has been on the road ever since.
The
MOT expired in April 2025, but the vendor doesn't think it would take too much
to put a fresh MOT on (might need some tyres). Having only covered 104,622
miles (backed up with the DVLA MOT history site) in its life, this is a
great opportunity to purchase a very rare car before they become totally
extinct.
All
original handbooks are present with a few service stamps in the book, this car
drives and starts well when its been photographed and videoed for our
website.
