Unusually original two owner example; showing just 78,993 miles
with scope for some cosmetic improvements
Dating from November 2000, this cool and uncommonly stock looking 1st
generation, late model Impreza is finished in the desirable dark blue colour and
sits upon a set of attractive 16" six-spoke alloy
wheels.
Under that scooped bonnet, we find the popular 2-litre EJ20
turbocharged flat-four cylinder Boxer engine developing 201bhp as a GC8K Turbo
2000 version, with power going to all-four wheels via the five-speed manual
transmission. This offers lots of fun and the added security of all-wheel
drive.
We did note fitment of a larger bore exhaust which lets some of
the mellow Boxer warble out a little more than stock.
Inside, we find black cloth sports seats with grey inserts, electric
windows, MOMO steering wheel, heated rear screen, headlight wash
and electric mirrors.
The history file includes the V5C recording just one former keeper to
the vendor who has owned the car since April 2018.
The file of paperwork includes
invoices recording some early service history from 2000 to 2009 (includes two
stamps in the book), the most recent appearing to have been in 2015.
Nine previous MOTs complement the sale of the car with the current one
running out in April 2026 with no advisories.
There is a little bit of rust on the
rear arches along with some lacquer peel around the car and wear on the seats,
but this is an interesting opportunity to own this low mileage, two owner
1st generation Impreza.
With a little tlc to bring it back to
its former glory you could look forward to enjoying the rally car heritage this
car offers with sound to match.
