Kingsbury & Son Ltd of Hampton, Middlesex in June 1999, this late model Mini
Cooper is finished in Tahiti Blue with traditional white stripes, white roof,
quartet of spot lights and sits on its original 13” alloy
wheels.
Under the bonnet, we find the
typical 1275cc fuel injected four-cylinder petrol engine driving the front
wheels via four-speed manual transmission.
Inside, we see a super
interior finished in light blue leather piped white with walnut veneer dash
trim, driver’s airbag, radio and cream dials.
The car shows just
88,274 miles and presents very well indeed, starting promptly and running well
as we have moved it around on site with a lovely peppy feel to
it.
The history file includes the V5C showing just three former keepers
to the current of six years, an old style V5C, the owner’s pack and service book
which records nine stamps, the last in February 2006 at 46,042 miles. A second
booklet contains a further stamp for a more recent service in March 2018 at
87,653 miles in County Durham.
The file also includes 11 old
MOTs, the current MOT valid until May 2025 which recorded no advisories and
selection of bills for works undertaken including a full repaint and a
three-stage machine polish in June 2015 costing £1,600 and some historic service
bills.
A spritely looking example
with a super colour combination on offer at an appealing estimate with sensible
mileage.
