Description
Unusually smart and tidy Volvo Estate; looks good in Turquoise
Pearl with dark grey leather interior; 113,800 miles and 16 service
stamps to date; 2.5 10v petrol engine
First
registered in December 1997, this Volvo V70 Estate was supplied new to a British
Army officer serving at RAF Bruggen. Finished in Turquoise Pearl with a dark
grey leather interior, it has the 2.5 10v petrol engine producing 142bhp mated
to 4-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
Factory options included cruise control; leather steering wheel;
red wood inlays to dash and centre console; power driver’s seat; trip computer;
armrest with cup holder; illuminated vanity mirrors; CD/radio/cassette; rear
roof spoiler; front fog lights in the spoiler; child seat in the rear seats and
first aid kit.
It has covered 113,836 miles
with a good service history comprising 16 stamps in the book, the last at 99,934
miles in April 2016 and the majority at Volvo main agents. The V5C records 7
former keepers and the car has an MOT to March 2024 with no advisories
recorded.
As you can see in the photos, the car
is very clean and tidy, the only obvious cosmetic defects we noted being scuffs
and paint cracks on the rear bumper, a couple of minor scuffs on the front
bumper, one stone chip on the bonnet, some minor deformation of the front
windscreen rubber and a taped up area in the driver's footwell carpet. The alloy
wheels would ideally benefit from a refurb, especially the front o/s. Starting
promptly and running well as we have moved it around on site, with no warning
lights on the dash, it retains all its original handbooks.
A most attractive looking Volvo with good paintwork, a nice
interior and oodles of space, it will be a handy bit of kit to have around and
is on offer here at no reserve so the best bid takes it
home.
