Face-lift R170 SLK
with supercharged 2.0 litre engine; appealing interior with black leather and
walnut trim; automatic/tiptronic transmission
Dating from May 2000, this YR2000 facelift example of the R170
series Mercedes SLK comes to us in SLK200 Kompressor guise and is finished in
Brilliant Silver riding on its original polished 15inch alloy
wheels.
Under the bonnet, we find the 2.0 litre
four-cylinder supercharged M111.958 petrol engine which develops 161Bhp and
230NM of torque driving the rear wheels via five-speed 5G-Tronic
automatic/tiptronic transmission, which gives the SLK the dash to sixty in 8.2
seconds.
Inside, we find black leather with
electric seat adjustment, extended walnut trim including gear surround, steering
wheel and door handle surrounds, two-stage heated seats, traction control, air
conditioning, cup and coin holder, electric windows, electric mirrors, electric
folding metal roof with heated glass rear screen and cruise
control.
The car presents well with only but a
few obvious cosmetic marks and stone chips as pictured commensurate with its age
and mileage.
The history file includes the V5C
revealing just one former keeper of two years, the service booklet recording ten
stamps, the last in March 2011 at 127,658 miles by Merc Care of London along
with a VOSA MOT history print out, two old MOTs and few bills including the bill
from the last stamped service costing £582 and a more recent service invoice
dated May 2021 at 140,199 miles costing £659 which included supply and fitment
of a new fuel pump and cam position sensor in addition to the routine servicing
carried out.
The current MOT until June 2023
and recorded six advisories (enter the reg at check-mot.service.gov.uk). On
offer at No Reserve, this appealing little roadster has much to offer and the
highest bid takes it home.
