1961 BSA Gold Flash
Bike rebuilt by a Jewler
in 2003 and it shows; SRM engine rebuild; super machine...
First registered in August 1961, this impressive Gold Flash shows five
previous keepers in the V5C and was acquired by our vendor in 2008.
He
has enjoyed it very much, the bike proving very reliable following a ground-up
restoration in 2003. Multiple bills on file, mainly from SRM show a
stove-enamelled frame and ancilliaries. This was followed by taper rollers to
the swing arm, new alloy rims and a needle roller conversion to the engine,
along with new big ends, Stellite valves, new cam followers, lead-free valve
inserts and 6.75:1 A10 pistons.
Its last MOT expired in 2019, although of
course it is exempt from one, and it has been running and riding while onsite at
Brightwells.
If a nice, well sorted A10 is on your shopping list - look
no further....
