1947 MG TC

Rust-free US import in 2014; UK Registered; alloy rocker cover to fit; good weather equipment; running and driving

As is often the case with cars from the US, details of their time overseas are scant. It appears to have arrived back in the UK in 2014 and was offered for sale from a deceased's estate in 2020. Advertisied on Car and Classic, it was acquired by the vendor's late father and was enjoyed for a while before Covid got in the way.

UK registered XBV 275, it has clearly been restored in the past, the only slight fly in the ointment being a pair of fibreglass front wings that have been fitted - relatively easily sorted. 

It presents well and is worth close inspection with a decent interior and nice mohair hood and sidescreens. It fired up straight away after a few months sitting which bodes well and has been running driving around while on site.

When MG were exporting TCs to the States, they only offered them in RHD, so it has not been converted and is as supplied by the factory.

On offer with an estimate to reflect its nice condition but non original wings, it looks like a great place to start enjoying T-Type motoring without breaking the bank.
