Supplied new by Lancaster Aston Martin of Reading in August 2001 this elegant DB7 Vantage Volante is finished in attractive Ice Blue metallic with matching dark blue Mohair hood and sits upon its original 18” 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Under the bonnet we find the 5.9 litre V12 engine which develops 420bhp and a whopping 542NM of torque driving the rear wheels via five-speed ZF automatic transmission offering a (limited) top speed of 165mph and zero to sixty time of just 5.1 seconds for the auto variant.

Inside, we find the typical luxurious Aston interior with acres of blue leather, embossed front seats, walnut trim, heated electric seats, climate control with AC, red starter button, traction control, blue dash, blue door cards and blue carpets.

This fine example shows just 27,598 miles and comes to us from a deceased estate via the executor (who is the current name in the log-book) acting on behalf of the estate of the late owner, who owned the car from April 2004 until July this year. The former owner (Mr Tyrrell) was well-known in the motor trade, a senior man at Mitsubishi for many years.

The history file includes the V5C showing just three former owners (the current being the executor), three old V5Cs, the owner’s pack and duplicate service book recording nine stamps inc. PDI, all by Lancaster Aston Martin and Broughtons Aston Martin including the last in 2006 at 10,856 miles.

In addition, the file includes a host of invoices  for continued maintenance including a new heater motor and handbrake switch costing £949 in July 2021 at 26,750 miles, most recent service at 26,532 miles in May 2021 by Cotswold Prestige Cars costing £1,456  who have carried out much of the more recent service and maintenance work on the car. The invoices on file are plentiful and date back to purchase in 2004 with a copy of the original advert and details about the Trackstar Tracker too. We also find at least 16 old MOTs along with the current MOT, valid until June 2023 with just two advisories for tyre wear/perishing.

On offer at No Reserve, this looks a most enticing proposition with an excellent history file, low miles and low owners.
