Supplied new by Wearside Audi of Tyne and Wear in September 2006 this B7 generation (Typ 8HE) Audi Cabriolet is finished in attractive Garnett Red (LZ3F) with black Mohair hood and sits upon its original 18” five-spoke alloy wheels. 

Under the bonnet, we find the potent 3.2-litre FSI V6 engine which develops 252bhp with six-speed automatic/tiptronic transmission.

Inside, we see black leather interior, manual seat adjustment with electric lumbar adjustment for the driver, digital climate control with AC, Audi MMI unit with sound system and navigation, ESP (stability control), multi-function steering wheel and steering wheel mounted paddles for tiptronic gear control.

The roof is of course fully electric, but we could not get it to work, the car telling us the boot was open, which it was not.  The vendor tells us this seems to be an intermittent issue.

The history file includes the V5C revealing four former owners to the current lady owner of four years, the owner’s pack and service book recording eight stamps, the last in April 2018 at 75,823 miles by New Age Motor Sales Ltd (whom our vendor bought the car off), a selection of maintenance invoices and 14 old MOTs. The current MOT is valid until February 2023 and records 12 advisories, although nothing too scary – check online at check-mot.service.gov.uk and enter the reg.

On sale at No Reserve, and showing just 88,029 miles the highest bid takes this pretty and pokey motor home.
