1986 Austin Mini City E Auto

One family owned from new; 29,000 miles; rare example of a British icon


First registered in April 1986 this Austin Mini 1000 City E auto has been a much loved, if little used member of the same family since new. The beige paintwork is complemented by the smart 1980s interior.

It was originally purchased by a single lady who used it very sparingly - clearly. Following her passing, it was stored in a dry garage and only taken out by the family for local village shows. It has been regularly serviced and MOTd, its last test expiring in November 2020 showing no advisories, so it will need a new test before driving about.

The V5C shows just two keepers from new.

In the sort of condition one would expect of a low mileage, garaged Mini of the era, it makes a lot of sense as an everyday classic, offering all the usual Mini attributes missing in today's over-bloated 'super minis'....
