1 bottle of very old brandy; in old manufacturing style seamless glass bottle, bearing a hand-written neck label tied on with the description: "BEAULY. Bottled in 1870. BRANDY. VERY OLD. Called The Prince's Brandy. Purchased at Beauly 1901. 150 years old". The following words are just decipherable on the top of the capsule: "James McBean Wine Merchant Beauly" The vendor informs us that the bottle was reputed to have been filled in 1870 with brandy that was already 150 years old from a barrel brought over in provisions for the Jacobite Rising of 1745, led by Charles Edward Stuart, 'Bonnie Prince Charlie'.
