Supplied new by L&C Croydon BMW in March 1998 this pretty pre-facelift Z3 is finished in desirable Montreal Blue and wears 5-spoke 17inch alloy wheels with black mohair roof. Under the hood we find the popular, and more frugal 1.9litre M44B19 engine which developed 138bhp and 180NM of torque providing enough performance for most, especially when paired, as here with the Getrag 5-speed manual ‘box.

Inside, we find tan leather interior with half electric adjustment (seat base), manually operated soft top with tan tonneau cover, radio/Cassette with boot mounted CD changer, electric windows and electric mirrors.

Showing just 75,691 miles the car comes from 2 year lady ownership with 6 previous keepers as referenced on the V5C. In addition, within the history file we find the service book revealing 11 stamps (inc. PDI), the last in September 2019 at 73,773 miles by Evans Halshaw Ford main dealers – our lady owner covering only 2,000 miles in her tenure.

In addition, we have 2 keys, a few sundry bills for service items, 5 old MOTs and the current valid until July 2022 with just one advisory noted for the service brake binding. Buyers please note, the Perspex rear window has come away from the soft-top as many seem to do along the bottom corners. A quick look online reveals various companies can repair this with a new rear screen while you wait for much less than you might imagine.
