1989 Austin Metro L five door

One lady owner from new with comprehensive history file and less than 45,000 miles

G887PJO was first registered in August 1989 to a lady living in Wendover who retained ownership over the next 32 years. The car was supplied by Dutton-Forshaw of Aylesbury, as shown in the service book and they serviced the car at each of the 12 services in the book to 1999 by which time it had covered 21,417 miles.

Since 2006, the car has only added 9,440 miles to the total, some 630 miles a year.

The interior is in lovely condition and the car benefits from a sunroof. The exterior is also good with just a few minor dings on the bonnet and rear door commesurate with age and use. The car was apparently waxoyled from new and we are told has never needed any welding.

There is a comprehensive history file of invoices, dating from 1989, together with service record book and MOTS from 1993-2016.

Popularity of  '80s and '90s BL products is definately on the up - this low mileage Metro being a rare survivor of the Scrappage Scheme and well worth a closer look.
