Dating from September 1999 this earlier, pre-facelift 290bhp 4.0 V8 convertible X100 series XK8 is finished in attractive Antigua Blue with matching blue mohair roof sat on 18inch 7-spoke fluted alloy wheels. Inside we find contrasting cream leather/leatherette interior with burr walnut trim and the usual high spec of any XK8 including electric heated seats, half-timbered steering wheel, cruise control, digital automatic climate control with A/C, trip computer, traction control and 5-speed ZF automatic transmission driving the rear wheels.

Showing 75,884 miles the car is in fair condition for its 22 year age and mileage with some wear evident to the driver's seat base and bolster, some marks to the head lining and evidence of previous paint work to the body but not withstanding that, the car still retains its elegant lines and presents well.

Within the history file, we find the V5C showing 7 former owners to our vendor of 5 years, the owner's wallet with manual and handbook along with 4 old MOT certificates and current MOT valid until August 2008 with 7 advisories worth considering - but not out of the ordinary for a 21 year old XK8 - they all seem to suffer the same ailments which are readily sortable via the right knowledgeable people.
