Not so long ago, this incredibly low-mileage ex-military Land Rover wouldn't have raised many eyebrows, the MOD unearthing a few barely used examples which were sold through Brightwells MOD sales into private hands.

Of late though, availability has reduced so prices have carried on their upward trajectory. The owner of this one has kindly paid the VAT to HMRC which would have been applicable at the time of his purchase...and it is UK registered too which has saved all that bother. Ready to go!

Complete with an MOT until June 2021, this vehicle remains in superb condition - as it should with just 1,304km (815 miles under its belt). The vendor removed some of the kit when he got it, but has kept it all - so the big aerial platform is detached along with the wading kit which also accounts for the glue residue seen by the more eagle-eyed of you on the front face of the bulkhead. All there to be refitted if you fancy.

Driven some 25 miles to the sale (3% of its total), it is ready to go and looks exceptional value as either a new Land Rover Defender (well sort of) or a fun piece of British military history.
