2001 Volkswagen Lupo GTi
Cool and now rare,
Phase I five-speed pocket-rocket with 123bhp 1.6 GTi poke in a tiny package
- equals lots of grin factor!
Dating from March 2001 this Phase I
Lupo GTi features a pokey 1.6 litre four-pot that develops a heady 123bhp driven
through the front wheels by a 5-speed manual 'box in a tiny, compact and
comparitively lightweight package resulting in an ear to ear grin factor.
The car's were likened, at the time to the original MkI Golf GTi in their simple
minded mission to equal driving fun and enjoyment.
Finished in silver
with grey cloth interior the car wears its original 15inch BBS Bathurst alloy
wheels with red brake calipers and after market big single central
exhaust. These hot little hatches came with bi-xenon head lights as
standard and bulbous body coloured bumpers giving the car a sporty, wider
attitude and stance.
The history file includes the V5C, owner's pack and
2 invoices for a K&N oil filter and air filter both dated July 2019 and 1
old MOT. The current MOT runs until January 2021 with no advisories
recorded.
