About Us:
Brightwells provides online auction services for a large number of private individuals and businesses. Items offered include classic and vintage cars, modern and commercial vehicles, plant and machinery, cherished number plates and fine wine. Brightwells is privately owned and our auctions are nationally and internationally renowned.
The job:
• A vacancy has arisen within our cherished number plate department. The role will include but is not limited to:
• Assist in building on our established and successful cherished number plate online auctions
• Advising prospective clients what their registration number might achieve at auction and if a reserve is necessary and at what level.
• Good communication skills with vendors and potential bidders throughout the auction process.
• Uploading details to our website and producing reports from our in house auction software. (Training can be given)
• Production of imagery depicting forthcoming lots for sale. (Training can be given)
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenues from existing clients
• Working with your immediate line manager and our marketing department to develop the department further
• Making all our customers feel welcome and valued
• Collaboration with all departments throughout BrightwellsThe person:
The desire to seek out new opportunities whilst managing an existing client portfolio is a must. Someone who is equally comfortable closing a deal and gaining the trust and confidence of clients.
• Experience in auctions is preferable although not essential
• Knowledge of how registration numbers have developed over the years is helpful although not essential
• Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
